even though i live in what is classed as the urban area of Guernsey i have frogs and hedgehogs in my garden

he served on HMS Whirlwind where he was part of the British Pacific Fleet he was a gunner and his job was to shoot down kamikaze planes before they could crash into the American aircraft carriers who's planes were attacking Sackishima as part of operation iceberg, good one dad

its been a long time

its beeeen a long time since i used this blog

and much has changed in this little old island of Guernsey

the main thing is we have a new government

Guernsey has a government of consensus , we don't have political parties instead individual people stand for their own manifesto and they are elected as individuals to represent the people of a certain district and n turn to govern the whole island
